Hello Intern Scrapbook Page for Stuck Sketches

Spotted this cool beaner sketch a few days ago out in blog land and had to have a go at it myself. I am loving circles at the moment for some reason or other and it looked like a great page to show case some paper.

If you want to check out the sketch and entries yourself, head on over to Stuck Sketches and take a peek.

I am playing with the latest Scraptastic Kit Summer Picnic and have already made some good headway on it. Of course, I can already tell I'm hoarding it a bit since the colors are really working for me!

A couple of weeks back Lexi went to work with THE MAN for Take Your Kid to Work Day. It was pretty cool they had that event because we really want to make sure the kids understand what we do everyday.

They asked we dress our kids in business casual which meant the pants I had purchased for the chorus concert got another use, finally!

You can't tell in this photo, but she is wearing small pumps which make her almost the same height as me. It was no wonder a few people were curious if they had gotten a new intern.

Nothing makes a tween smile more than to believe she looks pretty grown up.

SIGH.

Will be back tomorrow with another page I did for a challenge. It's one of my favorite times of the month, challenge time! WHOOhooo!

oh and in case you're not in the KNOW, that blue and white sign behind THE MAN and Lexi is a glassblower. He is named Little Joe and it's funny to me to see him all the way up here at this plant so far away from where we moved from. Makes me proud though!!!

  6. How fun is that to take the kids to work day! It's a sad day when your kids have to bend down to hug you...but your daughter looks so very professional and just adorable next to her dad. Great picture! Groovy circles too...
