Day 5 • Tuesday – September 25
Machu Picchu / Ollantaytambo / Sacsayhuamán / Cusco
A 3rd entrance
is included should you wish to return to Machu Picchu on your own.
Return via Vistadome train
to Ollantaytambo. Explore the mighty archaeological wonder of Ollantaytambo,
where ancient temples and fortresses were built to protect the Sacred Valley. Once
back in the Sacred Valley, enjoy a traditional lunch at Wayra Ranch before a
show of Paso Fino horses. Continuing
across the valley toward Cusco, we stop at Sacsayhuamán — a huge fortress of
massive stones which zigzags across the side of the mountain.

This page has NOTHING to do with my itinerary unless of course you think Inca Warriors may also be like Bradford Braves, no not really I guess!
I just liked the pretty flowers and had just blogged about them in a recent page I did on Lexi, so they show up again, just a few years ago! She was in THIRD grade here and Luke in first!
And how to you like our bus turn around? That was across the street from my house. Every morning someone had to meet the bus there because they would not turn down my dirt road. Kids were way too little to stick on a corner in the middle of nowhere by themselves!
