Aside from the obvious draw back of totally dying your fingers, I love alcohol ink. These little bottles were so much fun to alter. They have been sitting in my fridge unopened for about six months.
Arriving from a free desert THE MAN and I got at a hotel in Ottawa, their elegance was wasted on us.
In fact, I used the very picture above on a page previously, so you can see how they have been 'round the block!
Anyhow, used up the last of my Krylon Looking Glass spray on these bottles and let the alcohol inks drip down and dye the twine I wrapped around the tops.
The black and white baker's twine is from a prize pack I got from Ruby Rock-It and is the bomb. It's thicker and comes on these cute little spools and twirls on it's own!!
Made the little bottle cap with some dimensional modge podge after staining it with alcohol ink. The flowers were hand made too out of coffee filters and the dripping alcohol ink.
Just another little project for my Funk2Junk show in Saranac!
