Easter Cards
Made a few Easter Cards last week using up some scraps and some burlap I had in my stash. Some of the relatives only see my kids a few times a year, so I like to send cards out with photos. Besides, the USPS loves these kinds of cards that involve tons of extra postage!!
The vintage graphic is from The Graphics Fairy of course! ;-) A regular haunt of mine!
Here is a close up so you can see the dimension.
I had to much fun using those little metal pieces to tie on some twine and ribbon. Those little tissue paper flowers were fun to make out of coffee filters. I just dyed a few coffee filters up and then punched out some flower shapes...adding a small brad under the pretty center so I could "rumple" them up with some mist. Then hot glued on sparkle center.
Linking these up to A Diamond in the Stuff where she is having a linking party!
Happy Easter and come back tomorrow for a really funny Sunday Story. It's a good read while you're waiting for the baked goods to emerge from the oven!
