Confession Time Layout for Another Freaking Scrappy
Oh my, it's the first of the month again! We offically start the count down to Christmas today!
Anne over at Another Freaking Scrappy asked us to scrap a favorite Christmas memory. My parents have been talking about this since I was a wee one. I'm STILL traumatized over it. Yes, let me get you a close up of the journaling...
My father maintains he was hanging out watching the trainwreck...which seems to fit since only a guy would let a small person go on about dead rabbits and all that in public.
How do you like that awesome wreath! The paper & die cuts came from a lovely Close to My Heart crafternoon I went to recently. (Thanks Jean!) I added the flowers & gold paint. had to get the grunge going!
Another page for my ME album done and dusted! Come play along & that a happy Christmas memory scrapped! Happy Tuesday!

I thought that story was going to go in a whole different direction. What with the possessed giant Raggedy Ann in the Annabelle movie. I'm so happy to hear it was a joyful childhood memory that retold the confessions of hasenpheffer mishaps in your life. Seems a MUCH cuter thing to scrap about than the other...
ReplyDeleteI too attended confession quite frequently in the corner of my room in front of my little yellow wicker chair that housed a much smaller version of Raggedy Ann and her male counterpart. Oh the stories they heard!
LOOOVE this journaling page and YOU are precious in that picture!!!
Omg. Adorable! Awesome and how great for your kids to have this picture and this story all wrapped up by moms awesome artwork....love it!
ReplyDeleteDead rabbits. Hmmmnnnn..... poor Raggedy Anne!!! Love that photo:) And I reckon you've done an amazing job with that bg paper, too....looks fabulous under it all. CTMH stuff is really nice! I hadn't realised how nice 'til the local scrap mag gave me some of their stamps to try out. YUM!!! Love how you snuck that bow in there, too :):)
