Zeus and Zoe Gray Tag Box Redo

Spotted this oval box at the second hand store in a blaze of pink goriness. Do you see it hiding down there under the doily and the icky lampshade? (More on that lamp shade later that is now MUCH nicer looking). It was super cheap. And, the other nice aspect? The top was loose. If you are adding paint and modge podge, sometimes, the lid gets tight. This one is not. It is awesome!

It is MUCH better now. It is amazing what black & silver spray paint can do for you.

And the best part? I had no clue those metallic swirls would show through the paint. Its almost like a marble on the inside!

Love happy accidents!

And, has any one spotted my "cheat" on the lid? EVERYTHING on the top of this box is from a Zeus and Zoe Kit. It is nice, all coordinated, no stash diving, no searching, just easy simple assembly! Even the lace on the side came from that kit. I added a wee bit of gauze.

Linking this up with Feathered Nest Friday at French Country Cottage and also A Diamond in the Stuff.
