Sister Cities in DC for Another Freaking Scrappy

Lucky for me, Anne from over at Another Freaking Scrappy wanted us to use something on our layout that was old & some chipboard for our newest challenge. I can honestly say that this Close to My Heart We the People paper is ancient. Like I had little kids when I first bought it so over ten years old. It came in extremely handy for this layout I did of the Sister Cities Italian student's trip to Washington DC though.

Not only was that old paper perfect, the blue paper from Ruby Rock-it which is also pretty old had that cool Memories & Milestones sticker and the chippy butterfly and circle that came with it. Also upcycled a red, white and blue ribbon. Lexi was so lucky to be able to go along with this crew. They only took a couple of kids.

So glad I have the oldest trained to save memorabilia for me! Came in handy when I was trying to make this page pretty!

One more page off the list done and dusted! Thanks to Another Freaking Scrappy for encouraging me to get out my old paper & chippies! Come play along with us this time round?
