New Home for the Holidays

Threw this page together yesterday to celebrate accomplishing decorating a new house. It's funny you get so used to your decorations fitting one space. I was pleased with the photo I took of the house too. In looking at past scrapbooks, I have realized that sometimes I have forgotten to grab the bigger picture. My sis in law inspired me to enjoy the snow and it's beauty. And I love how I got some glare off the sun.

Another recent page, this one was to celebrate an award Luke received recently. I wanted to pull the blue out of the words on the photo so went with a blue background. Plus, he was wearing brown and I always love those two colors together!

Sewing with Shirley

I had so much fun making this page yesterday and adding the buttons and sewing today. The background material (orange) is new from Stampin' Up. They also sell paper to coordinates, but I really wanted the page to have real material. I used spray adhesive and Shirley sewed around the edges. Adhering it was tricky, but hence the sewn on buttons.

Had a great time working on this page yesterday. The papers were so much fun. A gift from my friend Kristy, it only made sense to use her family IN the page!! And the brads were awesome!! Love the title, it was something I wrote in her Christmas card!

Harry Potter Yule Ball

We have been working on embossing here in the North Country. Someone spotted a really cool card in the Stampin' Up book that had a beautiful silver Christmas tree, so I thought I'd stretch my scrapping dollars a bit more and use that same power for my letters. I was pretty excited on how they turned out.
