Hey there! Waving from New York at all you peeps visiting from the Visions of Sugar Plum blog hop! I'm so excited to share my first project with you. I used a cutting file from The Cutting Cafe, one of the sponsors who is near and dear to my heart. (Get it? I was trying to be punny you know with the deer on the cards??)
I cut those deer with the print & cut feature on my Silhouette and also those lovely Christmas Treat Cups that I filled with Reindeer Food! It was super easy to make the ornament treat cup!
There are four little girls I know who are anxious for that visit from St. Nick and plan on spreading reindeer food on their lawn before they go to sleep! I always loved that tradition with my kids! Mine are too old now, sadly! So glad I had a great cutting file to use to make these!

I love your tradition WAAAY more. I used to chew carrots up and spit them out in the yard to make the kids think the reindeer ate the carrots they left. I always wondered why the neighbor behind us gave us weird looks. Must have been from the annual yard spitting...
ReplyDeleteThose 4 girls are going to LOOOVE your cards! That's such a great idea and they are oozing with yummy wonderful vintage stuff. Your giveaway is scrumptious too! Happy Day 1!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute tradition, we never left food for the deer, we always thought Santa would leave some cookie crumbs from each home and give to the deer. This tradition my children's children will have to pass it on to theirs children. Really cute food card. Thanks for sharing.
