Another Freaking Scrappy: Freedom Page

October snuck in when I wasn't looking. Had to break out a sweatshirt & scarf today and I'm still freezing! Still not ready to start heating the house though. That seems like it's cheating....

Trees are just starting to change here. Don't worry, I'll share photos. Unlike the apple crisp I made over the weekend....no sharing of that!

There is a new challenge up at Another Freaking Scrappy:

Scrap about a high school reunion, or a memory of your time in high school.

This month we are playing for an opportunity to be randomly drawn as guest DT along with our featured DT, another player this month will be given the opportunity to provide a scrapbooking or art journaling tutorial for the 22nd of the next month if they wish to do so!! Links to the winner's blogs will be featured for both entrants drawn.

I chose to scrap about a memory since I have recently scrapped the one reunion photo I have!

So, started dating THE MAN around this time of year in our senior year of highschool.

As I did not have a driver's license myself, it was quite the experience to get a ride to school in THE MAN's hot car. Not only was it super cool looking, it was also hot as in the floor boards were rusting out and my feet were always sweating!

Got taken to the Prom in this TransAm too.

Not much journaling on this page, just a song from Eric Church that I LOVE and reminds me of when we were kids. We always took the long way to my house....

There is a cute little metal piece behind the photo came from the FunkieJunkie shop. Check her out!

Just a few banners, a fussy cut firebird, and some liquid pearls!

And, please come play along! We are a laid back bunch of girls and will enjoy looking at your page!

  2. Yet another cosmic link we have. I LOOOVE this LO. I can't tell by the rearend what year this is if it's a 76-78, but my DH had a 76 and we drove off to our honeymoon in it. Ahhhh, good memories and YES, the heat is unbearable in those things; especially when you're wearing 15,000 layers of frills on a wedding dress. :D
Awesome job detailing memory lane chica. :D

  5. What a wonderful page! I spend so much time scrapping current events that I have yet to tackle the box of pictures from my youth. Such a great idea!
