Metal makes me happy. So does lace and when you add modge podge into the equation, I get a bit crazy. Lets not even talk about glitter.
PLUS, I get to give this project away! MOST EXCELLENT!
I'm hanging with the peeps over at Visions of Sugar Plums today and I'm blogging about another altered item. This is Day Four of their blog hop full of crafts, recipes, traditions, tips, and wonderful, wonderful prizes.
To win this item and others you just need to visit & comment on all the blogs listed below!
Mitra (Here!)
Giveaways: 1 set of choice - Paper Sweeties
1 set of choice - Moonlighting by Mary
Christmas Creation - Mitra - THAT is ME!
Here is the before photo. I only painted the main part of the house green as I liked the crackly paint on the drawers.
One of my favorite parts of this project was modge podging on that very thick antique lace and adding those Tim Holtz buttons to the front.
Another little shot of the bird and buttons.
And one last shot of my pretty real copper roof. I used real copper and ran it through my Big Shot to emboss it. Then painted it with a patina paint. Hope you like it and WIN IT!
Leave me a little message and get in the drawing!
Happy Thursday!
Mitra
