These little tins came in my tea. We drink a lot of Sleepy Time Tea here. For some reason, my son has to have a cup every morning or coco. It's a rough life around here.
I liked the green color, but wanted to make it my own. :-)
So added some embossed tin tape. And added some cream paint. Sanded, painted, added some gold, added some glitter and then some shimmery paint.
Basically got all crazy until I really liked how the top turned out!
Then I made those little metal crackle accents with some vintage images of flowers and some gems with pearl brads!
LOVE IT!!!
These little boxes are heading out with a treat for some friends via the post office. I will be sad to see them go, but I really enjoyed working on them!
