Sleepy Time Tea Boxes & THE WINNER!

These little tins came in my tea. We drink a lot of Sleepy Time Tea here. For some reason, my son has to have a cup every morning or coco. It's a rough life around here.

I liked the green color, but wanted to make it my own. :-)

So added some embossed tin tape. And added some cream paint. Sanded, painted, added some gold, added some glitter and then some shimmery paint.

Basically got all crazy until I really liked how the top turned out!

Then I made those little metal crackle accents with some vintage images of flowers and some gems with pearl brads!

LOVE IT!!!

These little boxes are heading out with a treat for some friends via the post office. I will be sad to see them go, but I really enjoyed working on them!

And the winner of the hop yesterday at Visions of Sugar Plums is:

1 set of choice from Paper Sweeties: Sarah Biswabic
1 set of choice from Moonlighting by Mary: Karen Letchworth
Christmas Creation from Mitra: Sue D.

Sue:  Shoot me an e-mail (it's listed on my sidebar) and I'll get this my little house into the mail to you on the double!

Happy Friday!
