Turning Stone Casino Layout for the Get Creative Challenge

I was in the mood for splatters, plaster, and inks the other day so grabbed a plastic doily I had and pushed plaster through it to get a nice raised pattern.

It reminds me of a sun or flower in the middle of my page.

I laid it over a piece I had prepared with more geometric shapes made out of patterned paper. Of course the plaster, paint and inks disguised the various pieces of paper a bit so you can just barely see them here.

And talk about disguise, the background to the whole page was originally white but got inked up quite a lot with a stamp pad!

You can see some of the dimension here and the Prima blooms I used along with a variety of letter stickers.

A few more Prima blooms here along with some flair, flags and leaves!

Linking this up with the Get Creative challenge to use LOTS AND LOTS of flowers! I did not use LOTS, but I am hoping they will count my HUGE plaster flower in the middle! ;-)

My page is just a fun one about a dinner my kids shared with their Grandparents a little while ago. Dad Pratt and Granny Donna took them to the local casino where they visited an arcade and had milkshakes, not to mention supper, and staying out late. Fun times!

Hope this brightens your Monday!
